Kristina Johannsen kicks off the night by throwing the first pitch. Kristina and her family spent many hours helping Habitat for Humanity to build their Habitat family home, and now are paying it forward by helping others of Clinton County to have a Habitat home of their own.

On Wednesday, Aug. 15th the weather didn’t stop us from making the most of the night at Ashford University Field for a Clinton LumberKings baseball game.  Members were invited for a fun night at the ballpark in appreciation for their loyalty to the credit union.  We had a great time seeing everyone, handing out some Ascentra goodies, and giving three lucky winners a chance to win some money in the cash cube money machine!  We also were honored to have the Johannsen Family from Habitat for Humanity of Clinton County in the stadium to throw the first pitch.

Clinton staff Vicky Cornish and Lynette Graham cheer on participants as they compete to win free Jimmy John’s sandwiches in between innings.
